Mt. San Jacinto College (MSJC) is making it easier than ever for high school students to take advantage of dual enrollment opportunities with the release of a clear, step-by-step enrollment checklist.
Designed to guide students through the process, the checklist ensures that participants complete all necessary steps to successfully enroll in college-level courses while still in high school. This initiative reflects MSJC’s continued commitment to accessibility, student support, and academic achievement.
A Simple Path to College Credit
The dual enrollment checklist walks students through key actions, starting with submitting an MSJC application and creating a “MyMSJC” account. From there, students are prompted to complete a one-time online orientation and submit the required dual enrollment form through the portal.
In addition, the checklist highlights important administrative steps such as reviewing and waiving applicable student fees—including the Student Representation Fee and Student Government Association (SGA) Fee—through the self-service system.
Staying on Track
To ensure a smooth start, students are reminded to pay any remaining mandatory fees, including health and transportation costs, and to register for their approved courses in self-service. The final step encourages students to submit a Book Voucher Form to the librarian, helping them access required course materials quickly.
Supporting Student Achievement
By providing this structured checklist, MSJC aims to eliminate confusion and streamline the enrollment process. The college hopes this resource will empower students to stay organized, meet deadlines, and confidently begin their college journey early.
Students and families seeking additional guidance can reach out to the MSJC Counseling Office for support throughout the process.
