The San Jacinto High School girls soccer team is one win away from playing for a state title as they prepare to face Del Sol High School in the CIF Division 4 State Semifinals on Thursday, March 5.

After a strong postseason run, the Tigers have earned the No. 3 seed and will host the No. 7 seeded Del Sol squad at Tiger Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m., with students, families, and community members expected to fill the stands to support the team.

San Jacinto has been dominant throughout the playoffs, showing strong teamwork on both sides of the field. The Tigers’ defense has consistently shut down opposing attacks, while the offense has delivered key goals when it matters most. Their balanced play has helped them advance through the bracket and reach the state semifinal stage.

Thursday’s matchup against Del Sol is expected to be highly competitive, as both teams are fighting for a chance to move on to the CIF State Championship game. With a win, San Jacinto would secure its spot in the final and move one step closer to bringing home a state title.

Players and coaches say the support from the school and community has been a major motivator during the postseason.
