Valentine’s Day

Valentines+Day

With Valentine’s Day quickly approaching we asked some students why the holiday was so special

Keila Serrano: “Spending time with people that are close to you and, chocolates”

Tania Rodriguez: “Spending quality time with people that I love.”

A common tradition for Valentine’s Day is to give your Valentine’s a heartfelt gift. There are all sorts of things you could give but our classmates think these the best.

Keila Serrano: “I would say probably going to the beach and having a picnic there with my significant other.”

Tania Rodriguez: “A handwritten letter, because it has lots of meaning to it. Y’know like, they’re taking time to write it so I think it’s cute.”

Aside from actually receiving and giving gifts, most would agree that the thoughts behind them are what matter most, here’s what Tania Rodriguez has to say about it.

Tania Rodriguez: “That It has to be that they put thought and effort into it, so it has to seem like they actually tried and like they know me. A handwritten letter, because it has lots of meaning to it. Y’know like, they’re taking time to write it so I think it’s cute.”
