Daily Life As A Security Guard

De’Shawn: First things I got to do is be prepared so I have to get here and get my radio and all my tools that we’ll need to do our jobs. Making sure I gotta pin a good security officer has a pin and a pan to make sure you write your notes. There’s plenty of preparation to be in a security guard. I mean on a daily basis preparing my mind but of course annually quarterly half sometimes we do a lot of training we are always training. There is non stop training when your a security guard because society and different things are changing with people and in high schools where were working around right now we always have to be trained up and understand the new laws, new policies, and new rules. Most of the incidents that happen on campus we cant really stop them but we can try our best to be a deterrent which is what our job is. As a security guard you have to be ready and deal with every type of situation.
