The next School Community Council meeting will be held at 3:30 on Wednesday, November 4th in the Media Center.  The public is welcome to attend.

Springville Junior High School’s Community Council will meet for the first time this year on Wednesday, September 2nd at 3:30 in the school media center.  We will be discussing council roles and responbilities and welcoming new members.  The public is welcome to attend.

Our next School Community Council meeting will be this Wednesday, April 1st, at 3:30 in the Media Center.  We’ll be discussing the final Trustlands proposals.  All School Community Council meetings are open to the public.

Parents, are you looking for a way to get involved at your child’s school? Become a member of the Springville Junior High School Community Council. The School Community Council meets once a month after school for an hour to an hour and a half. Parents will have input on the school improvement plan and the expenditure of Trust Lands funds. The School Community Council membership is a two-year commitment. Please contact Springville Junior High at 489-2880 by April 28th if you are interested. School Community Council elections will be held during Student-Led Conferences on April 30, 2009.

The next School Community Council Meeting will be held on March 4 at 3:30 in the Media Center. We will be discussing the following items:

• School Improvement Plan Update
• Professional Development Plan Update
• Safe Routes Plan Update
• 4-H Program
• Trustlands Proposals for the 2009-10 school year
