The final book of the series Percy Jackson and the Olympians came out on May 5th. SJHS was a flurry of excitement. Students everywhere were talking excitedly about the series, and catching up on the exhilarating plot.

The book’s title is The Last Olympian. The series is an exciting adventure about a young boy, Percy Jackson, who learns that all the Greek Mythology he had been learning about in school, is completely true. On top of that, he finds out he is the son of one of the Greek gods. “The book is an excellent combination of ancient myth and modern times,” said Delon Lier, a ninth grade student at SJHS.

The students at SJHS consider this series one of the best yet. “I love it! The plot is not as deep as most books I read, but I find this a relief,” said Miranda Grigg, a ninth grade student at SJHS. “The tension has built up over time, and I am infinitely excited to experience the thrilling end to the series.”
